Getting Here

One of our major advantages as a school is that we do a great deal of high end work in the field for cutting edge designers, hot shot architects and filthy rich clients, all of whom lead us into very interesting, unique projects; which we will be turning into classes and workshops for our students! Our classes will be small and intensive, featuring a wide array of subject matter, from the unusual to the traditional. We also put together great lunches!

Environment:
Located at 6000 feet in the beautiful High Sierra of California, our studio classroom sits along the banks of the roaring Truckee River, the only outlet for Lake Tahoe, a world reknowned four seasons holiday destination. Over 6 world class ski areas, including Squaw Valley, are within 30 minutes of our door, a dozen more within an hour; cross country skiing is right across the river.

Other seasons offer golf, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, kayaking and anything else you can imagine; and yet we’re just 35 miles from the Reno, Nevada International Airport. We have a variety of charming lodging accommodations walking distance away, at student discounts, as we’re located right in the middle of historic old town Truckee, voted the most liveable ski town in America.

Classes:
Our classes are small and focused, with just 6 to 10 students each. Class fees include lunch, refreshments and all supplies.

Registration:
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your space, with the balance due at the start of class. Payment by cash or check only, please.

Cancellations:
Deposits, less a $ 50.00 processing fee, will be refunded up to 14 days prior to class. Within 14 days there are no refunds but you may apply your deposit to another class. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to class will result in forfeiture of entire deposit amount. Classes canceled by Zaffle Painting Studios will result in an immediate and full refund.

The following is our present list of classes.

No Classes Presently Scheduled!

We are just too busy on projects at present to organize classes. However, please stay in touch and let us know the sorts of classes in which you may be interested. We only need 5 to 8 students to make a class happen as we want to focus on intensive, hands on work. I am also open to coming to your area or school and teaching for you. You put together a group of students and I will come teach a class for you. Possible classes are listed below.
